The School of Arts and Humanities is seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic lecturer to contribute to our BA (Hons) Computer Games Design. Ideally the post-holder will have had previous experience in games design studios and/or have a selection of released titles in their portfolio. The candidate will have demonstrable understanding of the production pipeline from games concepts through to game release. We are looking for someone to join the team who has experience of games with either a scripting or artistic background and we would be willing to consider appointing more than one candidate on a part-time basis in order to meet the full requirements of the role.The successful candidate will be expected to bring and develop industry associated research that will inform and enhance the degree.

The BA Computer Games Design is a vibrant and highly innovative course with students producing both digital and non-digital games from day one. Students are tasked to work in teams across year groups using Agile methodology producing games in both 2D Flash and 3D Unity.
